2. Allgemeines
Wir verarbeiten personenbezogene Daten nur, soweit dies für die Bereitstellung unserer Website, unserer Angebote und die Abwicklung von Buchungen erforderlich ist oder du eingewilligt hast. Die jeweilige Rechtsgrundlage nennen wir bei den einzelnen Verarbeitungen. Buchungen von Minderjährigen nehmen wir nicht an.
3. Hosting und Server-Logfiles
Unsere Website wird bei WordPress.com gehostet, einem Dienst der Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. Beim Aufruf der Website werden technisch notwendige Daten verarbeitet: IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit, aufgerufene Seite, Browser und Betriebssystem sowie die zuvor besuchte Seite (Referrer). Das ist erforderlich, um die Website sicher und stabil bereitzustellen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse am sicheren Betrieb). Mit Automattic besteht ein Vertrag zur Auftragsverarbeitung. Für Übermittlungen in die USA stützt sich Automattic auf das EU-US Data Privacy Framework bzw. EU-Standardvertragsklauseln. Logfiles werden nur so lange gespeichert, wie es für Betrieb und Sicherheit erforderlich ist.
4. Cookies und Einwilligungsverwaltung
Beim ersten Besuch kannst du über unser Einwilligungs-Banner (Complianz) entscheiden, welche nicht notwendigen Dienste (Statistik, Marketing, externe Medien) geladen werden dürfen. Diese Dienste werden erst nach deiner Einwilligung geladen (§ 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Technisch notwendige Cookies, z. B. für Warenkorb, Checkout, Spracheinstellung und die Speicherung deiner Cookie-Auswahl, setzen wir auf Grundlage von § 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG und Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. f DSGVO. Du kannst deine Auswahl jederzeit über „Einwilligung verwalten“ unten auf der Seite ändern oder widerrufen. Details findest du in unserer Cookie-Richtlinie.
5. Google Analytics (über Google Site Kit)
Nur mit deiner Einwilligung (Kategorie Statistik) nutzen wir Google Analytics 4 von Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland. Google Analytics erfasst, wie du unsere Website nutzt, z. B. aufgerufene Seiten, Verweildauer, Geräteinformationen und ungefährer Standort. Dazu werden Cookies gesetzt. Daten können an Google LLC in die USA übertragen werden; Google ist unter dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG. Die Daten werden in Google Analytics höchstens 14 Monate gespeichert. Du kannst deine Einwilligung jederzeit über „Einwilligung verwalten“ widerrufen.
6. WordPress.com / Jetpack
Statistik: Nur mit deiner Einwilligung (Kategorie Statistik) erfasst die Jetpack-Statistik von Automattic Inc. Nutzungsdaten wie aufgerufene Seiten und Verweisquellen. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
Spam-Schutz (Akismet): Eingaben in Kommentar- und Kontaktformulare werden zum Schutz vor Spam mit dem Dienst Akismet (Automattic Inc.) abgeglichen. Dabei werden Name, E-Mail-Adresse, IP-Adresse, Browserdaten und der Inhalt übermittelt. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse am Schutz vor Spam).

7. Kontaktformular und E-Mail
Wenn du uns über das Kontaktformular oder per E-Mail schreibst, verarbeiten wir deine Angaben (z. B. Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Nachricht), um deine Anfrage zu beantworten. Formulareingaben werden in unserer WordPress-Datenbank gespeichert und per E-Mail an uns weitergeleitet. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Anfragen zu Buchungen) bzw. Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (allgemeine Anfragen). Wir löschen die Daten, sobald deine Anfrage erledigt ist, spätestens nach 12 Monaten, sofern keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.
8. Community Letter (Newsletter)
Für unseren Community Letter benötigen wir deine E-Mail-Adresse. Anmeldung und Versand laufen über die Newsletter-Funktion von WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.). Nach der Anmeldung erhältst du eine E-Mail mit einem Bestätigungslink; erst nach der Bestätigung bekommst du den Newsletter (Double-Opt-in). Anmelde- und Bestätigungszeitpunkt werden als Nachweis gespeichert. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Du kannst dich jederzeit über den Link in jeder E-Mail abmelden; danach löschen wir deine Adresse aus dem Verteiler.
9. Buchungen
Für Buchungen von Retreats, Events und Gutscheinen verarbeiten wir die Angaben aus dem Checkout (z. B. Name, Anschrift, E-Mail, Telefonnummer, Geburtsdatum, Bestell- und Zahlungsdaten), um den Vertrag mit dir zu erfüllen. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Rechnungsrelevante Daten bewahren wir für die gesetzlichen Fristen auf (bis zu 10 Jahre, § 147 AO, § 257 HGB, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO). Alle übrigen Buchungsdaten löschen wir ein Jahr nach dem Ende des Retreats bzw. Events.
Weitergabe an Unterkünfte: Für Retreats geben wir die für die Unterbringung erforderlichen Daten (z. B. Name, An- und Abreise, Zimmerwunsch) an die jeweilige Unterkunft weiter. Diese kann außerhalb der EU liegen (z. B. Marokko). Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO; die Übermittlung in ein Drittland erfolgt nach Art. 49 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, weil sie zur Erfüllung des Vertrags mit dir erforderlich ist. Retreats in der Agafay-Wüste werden über das Buchungssystem von Our Habitas abgewickelt; dort gilt zusätzlich deren Datenschutzerklärung.
10. Gesundheitsangaben und Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
Freiwillige Angaben „Sonstige Infos über mich“: Im Checkout kannst du uns freiwillig mitteilen, was wir über dich wissen sollten, z. B. Ernährungshinweise, Allergien, körperliche oder psychische Erkrankungen, Ängste oder Sorgen. Dabei kann es sich um Gesundheitsdaten im Sinne von Art. 9 DSGVO handeln. Wir verarbeiten diese Angaben nur mit deiner ausdrücklichen Einwilligung (Checkbox im Checkout, Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO) und ausschließlich, um uns bestmöglich auf dich und deinen Aufenthalt vorzubereiten. Zugriff haben nur wir als Veranstalterinnen. An Unterkünfte oder Verpflegung geben wir höchstens anonyme Hinweise weiter (z. B. „1× glutenfrei“), nie deinen Namen. Deine Einwilligung wird mit Zeitpunkt in der Bestellung gespeichert. Du kannst sie jederzeit per E-Mail an info@younique-retreats.com widerrufen. Wir löschen diese Angaben spätestens drei Monate nach dem Ende des Retreats bzw. Events.
Bestätigung der psychischen Stabilität: Bei Retreats und Vor-Ort-Events bitten wir dich im Checkout zu bestätigen, dass du dich derzeit psychisch ausreichend stabil fühlst, um teilzunehmen. Wir speichern nur, dass und wann du diese Bestätigung abgegeben hast, als Nachweis in der Bestellung. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO und, soweit die Bestätigung eine Angabe zu deiner Gesundheit enthält, deine ausdrückliche Einwilligung nach Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO. Gelöscht wird sie zusammen mit den übrigen Buchungsdaten.
11. Zahlungsanbieter
Kreditkarte und weitere Zahlarten (WooPayments / Stripe): Zahlungen werden von Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, Irland, abgewickelt. Dabei werden Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Rechnungsadresse, Betrag und Zahlungsdaten an Stripe übermittelt. Kartendaten gibst du direkt bei Stripe ein; wir speichern sie nicht. Zur Betrugsprävention setzt Stripe technisch notwendige Cookies. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO sowie Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Betrugsprävention).
PayPal: Wenn du mit PayPal bezahlst, werden deine Bestelldaten an PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxemburg, übermittelt. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Für die Verarbeitung bei den Zahlungsanbietern gelten zusätzlich deren Datenschutzbestimmungen.
12. Google-Bewertungen (Trustindex)
Nur mit deiner Einwilligung (Kategorie Marketing) zeigen wir Google-Bewertungen über den Dienst Trustindex (Trustindex Kft., Ungarn) an. Beim Laden werden deine IP-Adresse und Browserdaten an Trustindex und Google übermittelt; Profilbilder werden von Google-Servern geladen. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
13. Event-Anmeldung über Luma
Auf einigen Event-Seiten ist die Anmeldung über den Dienst Luma (lu.ma / luma.com, USA) eingebunden. Die Einbindung wird erst nach deiner Einwilligung geladen (Kategorie Marketing bzw. Klick auf den Platzhalter). Dabei werden deine IP-Adresse und Browserdaten an Luma übertragen. Wenn du dich über Luma anmeldest, verarbeitet Luma deine Angaben (z. B. Name, E-Mail-Adresse) zur Durchführung der Anmeldung. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO für die Einbindung, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO für die Anmeldung. Daten können in die USA übermittelt werden. Weitere Informationen findest du in der Datenschutzerklärung von Luma.
14. YouTube
Auf einigen Seiten ist ein Video von YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland) eingebunden. Es wird erst nach deiner Einwilligung geladen. Dann werden u. a. deine IP-Adresse und Browserdaten an YouTube/Google übertragen, auch in die USA (siehe Abschnitt 5). Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
15. Links zu anderen Websites und Social Media
Unsere Website enthält Links zu externen Websites, z. B. zu Instagram oder Facebook. Erst wenn du einen Link anklickst, werden Daten an den jeweiligen Anbieter übertragen; für dessen Verarbeitung ist der Anbieter verantwortlich.
16. Deine Rechte
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch gegen Verarbeitungen auf Grundlage berechtigter Interessen (Art. 21 DSGVO). Erteilte Einwilligungen kannst du jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO). Schreib uns dazu einfach an info@younique-retreats.com.
Du hast außerdem das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren. Für uns zuständig ist die Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de.
17. Datensicherheit
Unsere Website ist durchgehend per SSL/TLS verschlüsselt. Wir treffen angemessene technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen, um deine Daten vor Verlust und unbefugtem Zugriff zu schützen.
18. Änderungen
Wir passen diese Datenschutzerklärung an, wenn sich unsere Angebote oder die Rechtslage ändern. Es gilt die jeweils hier veröffentlichte Fassung.

2. General
We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide our website and services and to handle bookings, or where you have given your consent. We state the legal basis for each processing activity below. We do not accept bookings from minors.
3. Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted by WordPress.com, a service of Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). We have a data processing agreement with Automattic. For transfers to the USA, Automattic relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Log files are only kept for as long as necessary for operation and security.
4. Cookies and consent management
On your first visit, our consent banner (Complianz) lets you decide which non-essential services (statistics, marketing, external media) may be loaded. These services are only loaded after you consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Technically necessary cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart, checkout, language setting and storing your cookie choice, are set on the basis of Section 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via „Manage consent“ at the bottom of the page. Details can be found in our Cookie Policy.
5. Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit)
Only with your consent (statistics category) do we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics records how you use our website, e.g. pages visited, time spent, device information and approximate location. Cookies are set for this purpose. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Data is stored in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time via „Manage consent“.
6. WordPress.com / Jetpack
Statistics: Only with your consent (statistics category), Jetpack Stats by Automattic Inc. records usage data such as pages visited and referral sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Spam protection (Akismet): Entries in comment and contact forms are checked for spam using the Akismet service (Automattic Inc.). Name, email address, IP address, browser data and content are transmitted for this purpose. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against spam).
For transfers to third countries, see section 3.
7. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, message) to answer your enquiry. Form entries are stored in our WordPress database and forwarded to us by email. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (booking enquiries) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (general enquiries). We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, at the latest after 12 months, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Community Letter (newsletter)
For our Community Letter we need your email address. Sign-up and sending are handled by the newsletter function of WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.). After signing up, you will receive an email with a confirmation link; you will only receive the newsletter once you have confirmed (double opt-in). The time of sign-up and confirmation is stored as proof. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email; we will then remove your address from the mailing list.
9. Bookings
For bookings of retreats, events and vouchers, we process the details entered at checkout (e.g. name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, order and payment data) in order to perform our contract with you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data relevant for invoicing is kept for the statutory retention periods (up to 10 years, Section 147 AO, Section 257 HGB, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). All other booking data is deleted one year after the end of the retreat or event.
Disclosure to accommodation providers: For retreats, we pass on the data required for accommodation (e.g. name, arrival and departure, room preference) to the respective accommodation provider, which may be located outside the EU (e.g. Morocco). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; the transfer to a third country is based on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, as it is necessary for the performance of our contract with you. Retreats in the Agafay Desert are booked via the booking system of Our Habitas; their privacy policy also applies.
10. Health information and participation requirements
Optional „Other information about me“: At checkout you can voluntarily tell us anything we should know about you, e.g. dietary requirements, allergies, physical or mental health conditions, fears or worries. This may include health data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR. We only process this information with your explicit consent (checkbox at checkout, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and solely to prepare as well as possible for you and your stay. Only we as organisers have access. We pass on at most anonymous notes to accommodation or catering (e.g. „1× gluten-free“), never your name. Your consent is stored with a timestamp in your order. You can withdraw it at any time by email to info@younique-retreats.com. We delete this information no later than three months after the end of the retreat or event.
Confirmation of mental stability: For retreats and on-site events, we ask you at checkout to confirm that you currently feel mentally stable enough to take part. We only store the fact that and when you gave this confirmation, as proof in your order. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, to the extent the confirmation contains information about your health, your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR. It is deleted together with the other booking data.
11. Payment providers
Credit card and other payment methods (WooPayments / Stripe): Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, Ireland. Your name, email address, billing address, amount and payment data are transmitted to Stripe. You enter card details directly with Stripe; we do not store them. Stripe sets technically necessary cookies for fraud prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (fraud prevention).
PayPal: If you pay with PayPal, your order data is transmitted to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The privacy policies of the payment providers also apply to their processing.
12. Google reviews (Trustindex)
Only with your consent (marketing category) do we display Google reviews via the Trustindex service (Trustindex Kft., Hungary). When loading, your IP address and browser data are transmitted to Trustindex and Google; profile pictures are loaded from Google servers. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
13. Event registration via Luma
On some event pages, registration via the Luma service (lu.ma / luma.com, USA) is embedded. The embed is only loaded after your consent (marketing category or a click on the placeholder). Your IP address and browser data are then transmitted to Luma. If you register via Luma, Luma processes your details (e.g. name, email address) to handle the registration. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the embed, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the registration. Data may be transferred to the USA. Further information can be found in Luma’s privacy policy.
14. YouTube
A video from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is embedded on some pages. It is only loaded after your consent. Your IP address and browser data, among other things, are then transmitted to YouTube/Google, including to the USA (see section 5). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
15. Links to other websites and social media
Our website contains links to external websites, e.g. Instagram or Facebook. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click a link; the provider is responsible for its own processing.
16. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Simply write to us at info@younique-retreats.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
17. Data security
Our website is fully encrypted via SSL/TLS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

We update this privacy policy when our services or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
